Hello my crafty friends.
It is that time again for a new challenge for Parade Your Crafts.
You can find the challenge here:
The Theme is: HALLOWEEN
The Design Team - Krewe 1 has come up
with some pretty amazing inspirational projects
for all of you.
Halloween is a time of year for so many fun things to do.
Not only is it Fall and the weather is cooler but all the colors
come to us to use to create so many neat things.
I also love Halloween because of my kids.
I loved it as a kid and want my kids to have just as much fun.
So Today I am not only going to show you my projects but a couple projects my kiddos made too for the challenge. Maybe your kiddos would like to get involved this time around too. I love
seeing kids get creative. We all have a creative side we sometimes just need a little encouragement. So with out further ado...
My son made this cute card, all my himself. He is 8 Years old and loved getting involved and being able to create.
and the inside.....
And then my 15 yr. old daughter got into my stash and came up with this Beauty....
I love the black and Purple together.
They did such a wonderful job.
Now I had so many idea's on creating. I think it is because Halloween is such a fun time to create. I have done 2 projects for you today. First up is my card:
This was so much fun. I had these funky fibers too that really brought out the black and whites. And then I wanted to do something a little different
So I decided to make a witch's hat.
This was so much fun especially with these papers. This is the Authentic - Thrilling collection.
I made the hat from the Antidote 12x12 Double-sided Paper and the Superstition - 12x12 Double-sided Paper
I used the Thrilling - Details Stickers 12x12
for the images and a few other things I had laying around.
I hope I have inspired you to join in our challenge.
Make sure you go over and enter @ Parade Your Crafts
You can also put your name in the hat to Guest Design and
win a GC for playing along.
Lisa also has some amazing products @

How fun! A family Affair! Your children's cards are darling! It's easy to see where they get their talent, Miss Amy. Amy, thank you for your recent visit to my blog, and your incredible message left there in the form of a comment. I especially like your thoughts on Hope. This in particular: Weather we get the things we hope for or not. It still brought us through whatever battles we are faced with. - You should write that on your blog and enter the same challenge I did! It is beautifully worded, and I could not agree with you more. Thanks again for touching base - we both have been so busy that we've missed each other! hugs, de
ReplyDeleteBoth your projects there are wonderful! I love the colours you've used too. Your 5 year has great skill there. Thanks for visiting me - hope you enjoyed my part of the blog hop x
