Happy Birthday Tag

Good Morning Crafty friends.

Im up on the SumMoreFun blog today to share a tag I made using Raisin Boat stamp set "Happy Camper".

Starting out with a tag base I made out of cardstock. I glued a piece of torn cardboard to part of the tag to add texture. I then added color and designs using Finnabair paint and gesso. 

I then stamped my images cut them out and placed them on my tag.

I also added a touch of burlap twine and some home-made flowers.

Hey crafty friends, Today is the start of a New Challenge over at the SumMoreFun blog.

Here is the Mood Board

Remember you can use anything from the mood board. Something from a picture or a color, even the theme which is obviously Birthday!!

Here's what I came up with using Raisin Boat's stamp set Happy Camper.

Such an adorable set. And I have to say.. I just love that raccoon.

He cracks me up. 

I started with the stamps first.

I knew I was using that cute raccoon and I decided it would be fun to have him jumping over the fire. 

Which helped me choose the sentiment. 

After stamping and coloring my images, I fussy cut around them (Making me think, I sure could use a scan and cut.. One day, maybe) and added black cardstock behind them to make them pop out. 

When I was going thru my paper stash I saw this neat paper that looked like it was smoking. 

Can you say perfect??

Sweet Sabrina from SumMoreFun sent me these Action Wobbles, so I thought it would be fun to use one to make the raccoon spring and move on the card. 

I added another layer of black behind this neat paper. 

I also stamped my sentiment and added black behind it.

Hey crafty friends. Im up on the SumMoreFun blog today to share a thank you card using Raisin Boat's stamp set Curly cute.

This set is so cute and you can do anything with these stamps because they are so versatile.

I wanted to continue to learn about different backgrounds since my last project for our current challenge.

"Try Something New".

And its still going on until Thursday!!

Hint..hint..

Using oxide inks, on water color paper, I spread them around with my distress tool until I was happy with the colors. 

I then added a few drops of water and dabbed it up right away. 

After drying, I stamped a pretty little flower from the Curly cute set in black.

I also stamped the thanks sentiment and swirly design under that on a seperate peice and colored the background just a touch.

Im finding these backgrounds to be super fun.

A galaxy background is something Ive been wanting to try. And I have gotten the Distress Oxides more recently and havent had the chance to play with them yet. 

I pulled up a couple YouTube videos and watched how it was done.
Im pretty happy with the outcome and Im Definently going to keep practicing.

I made my own moon using this cute stamp set. And heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment.

Im taking over the SumMoreFun blog 

today to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!

I made a card just for today! 

The first day of 2018.

Our time with 2017 is over and now we have 365 days of 2018.

Here is my card.

I used Victorine Originals Clock Minutes stamp and Wishing you Joy sentiment stamp.

I had the idea of using the clock minutes as a border in a way. 

By cutting them in half.

Like saying time is all around us. 

My card was pretty quick to make

I used a punch to cut out my circles and then stamped my image.

I then cut them in half and arranged them on my card. 

I stamped the sentiment and attached it right to the center to make it pop. 

Im hoping 2018 is easier on us all like my card was to make.
